The distribution of the dust bins to the Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies will be done on Tuesday, regional coordinating council has said.

The Northern Regional Minister, Alhaji Mohammed-Muniru Limuna announced this at a meeting with the media on Sunday night in Tamale to formerly announce the local government ministry official relocation to the region.
The ministry led by the sector minister, Julius Debra, his two deputies and directors of the ministry arrived in Tamale Sunday afternoon to begin their one week working in the region.
Alhaji Limuna underscores the important role media play in development and call for their full support to highlight business potential and developmental projects currently ongoing in the region.
In spite of efforts by the regional coordinating council to ensure that all the districts area covered, only 16 districts out of 26 districts can be covered by the three teams formed due to the large nature of the northern region.
Local government minister, Julius Debra in an interaction with the media urged the MMDAs not to rely solely on central government through the assembly common fund but rather adopt more innovative way of enhancing their revenue.
