0
Customers of the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) in the Tamale main on Thursday left disappointed after management locked the bank without any prior notice.
The customers who went for their usual business transactions only met red bans tried on the bank main door.
Some of the disappointed customers who spoke to Zaa News took serious exception to the treatment of the adb for not notifying them and allowed them to burn their fuel only to be told by the security that they are not working.
Workers who receive their monthly salary were angry that they will have to mange the situation until reasons for the closure are addressed.
Frustrated customers described adb action as very embossing and are demanding explanations from the management of adb in Taamale.
Workers of adb across Ghana have been directed by the Union of Industry Commercial and Finance (UNICOF) to declare a sit down strike nationwide.
The strike according to UNICOF was to press home their demands for the removal of the managing director and dissolution of the bank's board.
The workers believe their demands will allow investigation into the financial malfeasance allegations. Level against the adb MD. But the customers at the Tamale main say the internal wrangling in the bank is noe of their business and management should have notify them before adhering to UNICOF.
Efforts to get responds from the branch manager of Tamale main on customers concerns prove futile.
