Roads minister donates ambulance to Tamale Central Mosque

The Roads and Highway Minister and member of parliament for Tamale Central, Alhaji Inusah Fuseini, has donated a multi-purpose ambulance to the Tamale central mosque.

The donation forms part of the minister’s commitment to assist his constituency gain access to emergency services when the need arises, constituency chairman, Alhaji Zaapayim said.

This is the second donation of an ambulance by the minister. In 2015,  he donated an ambulance to the Afa Yussif Ajura Mosque. The two ambulances stationed at the city’s two major mosques will, among other things, respond to emergency cases and be used as hearses to convey corpses to their final resting place in the cemetery.

Alhaji Zaapayim who presented the ambulance to the northern regional chief Imam assured the Muslim Ummah and the entire constituency of Alhaji Inusah’s unreserved commitment in attending to their needs.

He assured management of the central mosque that he will relay their appeal for support for the renovation work currently going on in the mosque. According to him, aside the MP being a politician, he is a devout Muslim, hence his support to the mosques.

Alhaji Ahmed Abdul Salam, the chief Imam thanked the minister for his kind gesture. The chief Imam described the donation as timely saying it will complement the mini vehicle which is being used to convey corpses to the cemetery. The new ambulance he said will reduce pressure on the mini vehicle.image
