Adhere to COVID-19 precautionary measures – S/R minister

The Savanna Regional Minister Mr Adam Salifu Braimah has advised the people in the region to take precautionary measures against the spread of COVID-19 very serious.
According to the minister, it is only adherence strictly by the safety protocols that the country can go back to normal life.

The Savannah Regional Minister gave the advise during the launch of Zoomlion fumigation of police facilities exercise in the region.

The minister reminded the people that there is still no known cure of COVID-19 and efforts by the government can only succeed with full corporation of the citizens.

He assured the region’s readiness to partner with zoomlion in fighting the virus.

‘Whatever effort we need to do  to collaborate with you, we will do it’ , the minister assured. 

“This exercise being executed by zoomlion Ghana clearly indicates that the president is committed to ensuring that Coronavirus becomes a thing of the past, finally I want to humbly appeal with the Muslim ummah in the region to please make sure not to observe Eid prayers in congregation”; the minister added.
Mr Salifu said the President’s directive on the precautionary measures should duly be followed.

Northern Regional Manager of Savannah Waste Services, Mr Dawuni Peter  reiterated Zoomlion’s commitment towards ensuring safe environment within their capacity.

Mr Dawuni appealed to residents in the region corporate with them during the period.
Other public institutions  within the region were likely to benefit ones they shown interest, he hinted.
