The Agriculture Development Bank (adb), has donated Personal Protection Equipment to the Tamale Teaching Hospital.
The items include FFP2 nose masks, high class laboratory hand gloves, boxes of hand washing soaps, boxes of alcohol based sanitizers, veronica buckets, packs of tissues paper.
The bank also presented similar items to the Tolon District Hospital.
The donation forms of the banks support to the government to fight the coronavirus pandemic in the country.
The Bank through its board earmarked one million Ghana cedis to support in the fight against covid-19 and has since donated 200,000 cedis to the covid-19 Trust Fund.
The Deputy Managing Director of adb, Alhaji Yakubu Tali who made presentations to the beneficiary hospitals appealed to other cooperate organizations to support health facilities and health professionals manning the facilities.
He said the government commitment needs support from cooperate bodies to help deal with the pandemic and its negative impact on social life of the citizenary.

Northern Regional, Mr Minister Salifu Saeed commended the management of adb for their kind gesture.
The minister expressed the hope that the support will boost the morale of staff manning both the testing center and isolation center.
Touching on romours making rounds that the government is being economically with truth about covid-19, Mr Saeed said no government official is interested in manufacturing lies.
Covid-19, the minister stressed was real and social distancing and safety measures must be adhere to.
