The magazine said its investigations indicated that the minister’s leadership style in managing both lands and natural resource and the roads sectors was outstanding among his peers in the West African sub-region.

The magazine’s first honored Alhaji Fuseini in Brussels, Belgium in 2014. It looked at how well the minister had tackled illegal mining popularly called Galamsey and some of the policies he put in place at the roads ministry.

The criteria used in judging the ministers, according to the magazine’s publisher, Ms Rossette Aliu, who spoke to journalists at a brief ceremony in Tamale where she presented copies of the magazine and a certificate of appreciation to the roads minister, was the focus and competence ministers brought to the day to day management of their respective ministries. In addition, to the efficient running of his ministry, Alhaji Fuseini who is also a member of parliament for Tamale central, has invested a lot in educational infrastructure leading to improvement in the constituency, Ms. Aliu added.

Alhaji Fuseini dedicated the honor to the people in his constituency and the NDC government for giving him the opportunity to serve the country. He said he will remain focused in his duties.

On the upcoming parliamentary primaries, Alhaji Fuseini said his development record in the constituency is intact and visible for everyone to see, hence the continuity of his good work remains his campaign message.
