Residents of Sheishegu, a suburb in the Sagnarigu district today were thrown into total shock after a dead body was found in the area.
The lifeless body of the about 14 year’s old boy was found in the bush along Al-Maqtum Islamic Senior High School road.
The deceased who is yet to be identified, is believed to have been killed somewhere but was dumped in the area, residents told authorities
Speaking to Zaa News, the Unit Committee Chairman for the area, Mr.Yahaya Yussif, who is the acting assembly man for Sheishigu said the bizarre incident was reported to the Chief of Sheishigu.
The Sheishigu chief accordingly informed the paramount chief of Sagnarigu Traditional area before alerting the police.
He suspected the boy was killed somewhere and brought to the area because no one in Sheishigu seems to know him. Meanwhile, the police have since taken the body and deposited it at the Tamale Teaching Hospital Mortuary for autopsy.
