Prince Mukadi Gbramoni, a sports journalist and member of Northern region’s Football Association’s marketing and Business Development committee has challenged radio stations and their program managers to prioritize sports on their stations.

According to the award winning sports presenter, no media house can compete in the media land scape in recent times “if you don’t prioritize Sports”.

“Most of the media houses in the Northern region don’t prioritize sports programs which should have been the priority of every media house. I think sports have played an integral part to bring people together and made people to forget about politics and chieftaincy”.

The host of Zaa sports noted that sports has become a major activity and a source of livelihood for many in the world both in and outside the pitch. He said the rate at which people, both young and old follow sports makes it necessary for media houses to provide much space for sports programs on their networks.

He added that, besides the commercial benefits of sports, it also motivate and inspires listeners.

“Is only sports that motivate or inspire listeners; sports will tell you this “Never give up, never give in, and when the upper hand is ours, may we have the ability to handle the win with the dignity that we absorbed the loss”

Prince Mukadi also encouraged colleague sports presenters to ensure they feed their listeners with right and adequate information. Sports he said is an “antidote to a boring life”.
